Easter Beauty Box Swap

Chloe from Reality Leaves Lots To Imagination arranged a Easter beauty box swap for any bloggers who wanted to get involved. We were all paired up with someone who had the same budget, and I was paired with Chloe. We let each other know via email what products we liked and also what products we didn’t like. So we both knew we were going to receive a box that we’d love, and it was also going to be a surprise – how exciting! I love the way Chloe thought about my box. It was all pink and girly, which of course, I loved. She wrote me a letter and tagged all of the products with a couple of sentences, saying why she bought them for me. I thought these were both lovely ideas! All of the items I received in my box I had never actually tried before, so I was really excited to try them all for the first time.

The first beauty product I’m going to talk about is called Flake Away by Soap & Glory. I have a lot of products from this brand but I didn’t have this one, so I was really intrigued to try it out. It’s for those dry patches on your body – elbows, knees, ect. It smells like the typical Soap & Glory product, which I can’t for the life of me describe haha. I love how you can get a full size of this or a travel size. The 50ml tub is perfect for those weekends away and you need it to be small, so you can just throw it into your bag. This is an overall really good body scrub!

I’m a huge fan of Lush so to see a bath ballistic in this box made me extremely happy! This is called “Secret Garden”. I love the bright green and pink colours – very Spring-like! The smell is a floral scent, which I don’t normally like but it’s really nice, surprisingly!  I’ve not actually tried this yet, so I may do a full review on it soon.

I’ve heard St. Ives is a really good brand, but I’ve never tried any of their products before. It’s fair to say that I’ve been missing out! Chloe kindly gave me St. Ives’ Invigorating Apricot facial scrub. This claims to “Promote healthier-looking, glowing skin in just 7 days.” I haven’t been using it for more than 7 days, but it’s definitely helping my skin. It makes my skin feel super soft and it’s getting rid of some black heads on my nose, which is a huge bonus! As this is apricot,  it smells heavenly. Once I’ve used this 30ml tube up, I’m for sure going to buy the full size.

I love MUA and I’ve never tried their single eye shadows before, only their eye shadow palettes. Chloe picked shade 24 for me, which is a mauve/pink shade with a little bit of plum in it. It’ll look good on its own or used in a smokey eye look. This single eye shadow is just as good as the eye shadows in MUA’s palettes. It has great pigmentation and amazing staying power.

I’ve heard really good things about Natural Collection’s lipsticks, but I’ve never tried any before. Chloe picked the colour “Sand Castle” for me, which is a gorgeous nude colour. This shade is quite sheer, so it’s perfect if you just want a tiny bit of colour on your lips. This lipstick isn’t too dark or orange – yay! I love a nude lipstick so thank you, Chloe!

I’m really grateful for all of these goodies and I want to say another huge thank you to Chloe! Not only for these beauty bits, but for organising the box swap too. I really hope we do a box swap again as it was really fun!
